Search-based party game

SearchBattle is a word party game for one to eight players on PC. Each round gives everyone the same topic, and each player enters one word into a real search engine. The search results and hit counts determine the score, so the choice is less about giving a correct answer than about finding a word that produces the result the rules reward.

You get one search in some rounds, with no way to take it back after pressing Search. For a topic such as space, players might enter “JAXA,” “stargazing” or “Hayabusa.” In the example, results for “JAXA” mention space 24 times, earning 24 points, while “stargazing” earns zero. The interface and topics are in Japanese.
