Game premise and structure

Scrap Snap is a co-op physics sandbox game available on PC, where you and your friends build mechs to combat waves of scavenger drones. Each player starts with their own basic mech, which can be customized by exploring procedurally generated planets for armor, weapons, and tools. The game consists of multiple levels across various solar systems, where players complete main objectives before moving on.

Combat and enemies

You face two types of scavenger drones, the Drone and the Rover. Their tasks are to collect scrap and attack players. While not overly difficult to defeat individually, their numbers increase over time, providing a challenge to players as they progress through the levels.
