Fear in the Familiar: Scary Stories: Grotesque

Scary Stories: Grotesque brings chilling horror to life in mundane settings, transforming the everyday into a landscape of dread. Players are plunged into a world where each tale unfolds in recognizable places, a subway station at midnight, a nearly empty movie theater, or a fog-laden mountain road. What begins as ordinary spirals into the supernatural, creating a collection of short horror visual novels that tap into urban legends and internet ghost stories.

Short Horror Tales Rooted in Reality

At the heart of Scary Stories: Grotesque is its anthology format, featuring 13 standalone horror stories. Each narrative encapsulates a different type of terror, often triggered by a seemingly trivial detail, like a misplaced item or a solitary photograph. The stories challenge players to confront fears that linger in the back of their minds, those moments when the familiar feels unsettlingly wrong.
