Roving in the Dark

A Treasure Hunt in Roving in the Dark

Roving in the Dark is a challenging cave exploration platformer that takes players back to 1996. You step into the shoes of the bearded "Local Spelunker," tasked with helping ill-equipped treasure-seekers while navigating treacherous caves filled with hidden dangers. Along the way, you also seek out treasures left behind by a medieval thief, items intended for the local museum. Prepare for both strategic planning and quick reflexes as you dive into this pixelated world.

Navigate Treacherous Terrain

The cave systems in Roving in the Dark are your playground, but they hold numerous hazards that can send you plummeting to your demise. Players must contend with slippery surfaces, falling rocks, and unnatural coolness that can impede movement. The challenge only intensifies when foreign cavers push into your path. At the game's outset, you'll have only your wits, running, jumping, and climbing to navigate the narrow passages as you search for missing gear.
