Game type and premise

Rotten Keep is a survival horror game set in Castel Valmora, an isolated fortress in the Italian Alps. You play as Maestro Severino, a physician, summoned to investigate a mysterious affliction affecting Signore Corrado del Valmora. Upon your arrival, the keep seems tranquil, but you quickly realize that a demonic presence has taken hold, twisting the castle's occupants into horrific forms. Your objective shifts from investigation to survival; you must find Donna Caterina, uncover the castle's secret, and escape.

Combat and stealth

The game features a relentless stalker horror element where you must evade a dynamic demon that hunts you through narrow stone corridors. Speed and stealth are your primary defenses, requiring you to carefully choose when to hide and when to run.
