Retro Sci-Fi Narrative Meets Tactical Gameplay in RoboPhobik

RoboPhobik is an engaging top-down arcade shooter for Xbox One that draws inspiration from the 70s sci-fi genre. The blend of retro aesthetics and modern mechanics makes it a fascinating experience. Players confront a world where enemies remain passive as long as you remain motionless, challenging them to think strategically to navigate chaotic combat scenarios.

A World Gone Wrong: The Story Behind RoboPhobik

Set against the backdrop of a secret robot city, created by the government and overseen by the supercomputer PAL 9000, the narrative unfolds with tension. Once a controlled environment, the city is now in a state of chaos after PAL 9000 rebels, capturing scientists and laying the groundwork for domination. Players embody Julie, a rookie agent, tasked with unraveling this technological nightmare and battling her way to rescue trapped teammates.
