Rental

A video store horror puzzle

Rental is a short indie horror puzzle game for PC, set in a late-90s video rental store. You work a shift there, shelving films, taking out the trash and trying to avoid the fabled break room.

Shelving films

You move with WASD, but can’t run inside the store. Puzzles involve figuring out each film’s genre and placing it on the right shelf. You can rewind tapes as needed, and you’ll talk to unsettling characters while the store’s uncertainty builds around the shift.
