Game premise and structure

Redemptions Ocean is a strategy RPG set in the Melias Archipelago, a group of islands on an endless sea. Players control characters, known as Units, and engage in turn-based battles with enemies across various stages. The game features a long story that unfolds through 28 main story stages and over 10 side-story stages, allowing players to follow a classic boy-meets-girl narrative while exploring a richly detailed world.

Combat and classes

In battles, you can move units across the battlefield and engage enemies under specific victory conditions, such as defeating a boss unit or reaching a designated area. Each unit has one of three Battle Types (Rush, Impact, or Boost) affecting their performance in combat. Rush Types excel in defense and speed, Impact Types focus on offensive power, and Boost Types enhance mobility. Understanding these types is key to developing effective strategies against the diverse enemies encountered.
