A vampire knight in Vesper

Red Veil is a gothic cyberpunk duel-crawler set in Vesper, a city without sunlight for 31 years. After an Aurora drill breaks into a forgotten crypt, workers rebuild the knight they find inside with a chrome arm, spine and eye. A voice in his implants, MOTH, urges him to escape. He remembers little beyond candlelight, a woman’s voice and a gate that must stay shut.

One-on-one duels

Every fight is a duel. Enemies telegraph their swings, so you can parry at the last instant or dodge attacks marked by a white flash. Combos and charged strikes break an opponent’s posture; then you can bite them to heal and refill your blood. Mist Step also gets you through unblockable attacks.
