Science-themed fighting

Reactance is a science-themed fighting game for PC where scientists battle in one-on-one and two-on-two matches. You can fight bots at three difficulty levels, play ranked matches, or set up a private match with a five-letter code or a Steam invite. Private matches let friends watch, and the Laboratory is a beach field station where up to 20 players can walk around, chat, emote, and challenge someone to a duel.

The game is built for online play: both players run and host the fight, and only button presses travel over the connection. Casual and Mayhem matches use a rule-breaking modifier that changes every 15 seconds.
