Building rockets

Raccoocket is a physics-based rocket-building game for PC. You play as Xiao Huan, a raccoon in an east-side scrapyard who wants to reach the Moon. Build a rocket from junk, strap Xiao Huan to the top and launch it. More than 80 parts can be stacked, hung on the sides or bolted together, from cola and sparklers to jet engines and a Saturn V first stage.

Parts push, burn, weigh down and break the rocket in different ways. A stack that’s poorly balanced can tumble; weak sections can buckle under load, and heat can burn the top off. Thrusters can wobble and explode. The build screen shows what the rocket is expected to do and what changes might fix it, so each launch gives you problems to solve in the design.
