Typing words for points

Proverbial is a PC incremental game about working as a monkey in an office, typing on typewriters to spell words. You and the monkeys you hire generate words and earn points. Words are worth more when you find them for the first time and when they’re longer, so collecting new words is one way to build up your score.

You spend points on upgrades, items, and abilities. Upgrades can increase how many keys your monkeys type per second or teach them which letters often follow other letters. Items give permanent bonuses to points earned. Abilities can be used at intervals, and you can upgrade their potency and duration or reduce their cooldown.
