Protocol Z

Zombie sandbox

Protocol Z is a PC zombie sandbox set in New Hudson, a town where residents follow daily routines before you trigger an outbreak. You can drop zombies anywhere, create tunnels for them to emerge from, or start the infection with a single bite and watch it spread. The game lets you take control of any human or zombie and play in first person.

Life in New Hudson

Families go to work and school, children visit playgrounds, and shifts change at the hospital, police station and military base. The hotel football team plays in the morning, while inmates exercise in the prison yard. Traffic, weather, a day and night cycle, and power outages are part of the town simulation.
