A World of Power Dynamics in Populus

In Populus, players dive into a low-fantasy colony sim on PC that shifts the focus from individuals to the intricate system governing them. This game challenges you to set rules, establish priorities, and foster environments for your subjects. Rather than controlling characters directly, you guide their fate by creating the conditions for success and survival, shaping a living, breathing society.

Build and Expand Your Colony

Start with a foothold in a land rich with untapped resources. Populus encourages exploration and expansion as you build industries and establish trade routes with your homeland. The decisions you make determine how your society grows and thrives, will you focus on agriculture or mining? Every choice influences your colony’s prosperity and future direction, but it also creates a ripple effect that shapes the lives of your subjects.
