Game premise and setting

Phonophobia is a first-person psychological horror game set in the ruins of a destroyed train station. You awaken without memory, tasked with escape and the need to uncover your forgotten past. As you explore an unsettling village, the game challenges players with environmental puzzles while they deal with their fractured perception of reality.

Sound-based challenges

Sound plays a key role in the game, where every noise can signal danger. You'll use audio cues to help navigate dark areas, track threats, and locate essential puzzle elements. Staying still for too long invites auditory illusions and sudden blackouts, forcing you to keep moving to maintain your grip on reality.
