Phase War

Game overview

Phase War is a strategy game for PC that combines a 100-mission campaign spanning five distinct historical eras, from World War I to a future with mechanized warfare. Players collect and craft over 130 unit cards representing various military assets, including infantry, vehicles, and fortifications. The game emphasizes managing positioning and timing of units on the battlefield while a real-time simulation handles combat results.

Combat and tactics

Combat focuses on tactical deployment through lane and grid-based positioning, prioritizing range and synergy of auras between units. Players make key decisions about the deployment timing of their units, while aspects like arcing ballistics and weather effects contribute to combat dynamics. Players can choose between allowing automatic combat management or manually timing powerful abilities to influence the outcome.
