Geometric sandbox

Pentatile is a geometric sandbox for PC about growing a mosaic from a seed. You place tiles along its edges, and the pattern can develop into forms such as a curling creature or crystalline tower. The shapes that emerge depend on how you extend the mosaic, so building is about choosing where to place pieces and seeing what those additions create.

Filling the spaces

Tiles can enclose spaces within your mosaic. Fill those gaps with shapes you already have, or discover a new shape that changes how the mosaic grows. A flood tool places connected copies one at a time, giving you a way to extend a pattern across adjoining areas. Small discoveries can become Black Diamonds: special pieces you can collect but can’t duplicate.
