Pankapu

A Journey Through Dreams and Nightmares in Pankapu

Pankapu takes players on a captivating journey through a beautifully crafted 2D world filled with both dreams and nightmares. As a tiny warrior tasked with safeguarding his homeland, you will grapple with the forces of good and evil. Yet, beneath this epic quest lies a deeper narrative, one that addresses the mental health struggles of a traumatized child, delivering a poignant experience wrapped in an engaging story.

Discovering Two Layers of Storytelling

At its core, Pankapu is layered with meaning. The fable-like narrative unfolds in two levels. The first is Pankapu’s heroic journey, where the vibrant art and simple gameplay entice players. The second, more profound layer reveals the story of Djaha’rell, the child for whom this tale is told. This dual storytelling format guides players through an emotional landscape, contrasting the light of adventure with the shadows of personal trauma.
