Game premise and mechanics

Over Mining is a mining simulation game for PC where you begin with one old pickaxe and gradually improve your mining capabilities. At the start, even the nearby rock barely budges with your initial swings. As you play, you collect ore to grow your skill tree, allowing you to enhance your abilities, such as hitting harder and eventually summoning floating pickaxes to assist you. You’ll also unlock new elemental attacks, including fire, ice, and lightning, which help shatter tougher stone blocks.

Progression and upgrades

The game allows for a structured development system through a skill tree. As you gather ore, you can spend it to improve your mining skills, making each swing more effective. Over time, you will find that your abilities evolve from simply chipping away at the surface to effectively breaking through more challenging rock as you push deeper into the environment.
