The game generates a vibrant world with unique colors for roofs, water, grass, and trees, all of which are chosen randomly. As players progress, they will encounter various buildings that they can rotate and place, culminating in the crafting of their very own picturesque environment.

The charm of Otok lies in its randomness. Every session offers a different combination of building options, depending on the randomly selected island style. Current styles include Medieval, reminiscent of castle architecture; Plain, which features modern constructions; Adobe, inspired by traditional pueblo aesthetics; and Guarda, reflecting the quaint architecture of the Swiss village. This variability allows for a fresh gameplay experience each time.
