Defending the colonies

Orbital Defense 2899 is a tower defense game set in Space Year 2899, where Japan’s settlements beyond Earth are under attack from debris storms, Veil lifeforms and unmarked drones. As Operations Chief of the Space Facility Defense Office, you place defenses on a limited budget and try to hold all ten colonies. You can play as Shingo Asamura or Mizuki Saegusa, two chiefs with different traits who tell the story in their own words.

Routes and defenses

Each stage has its own route, from spirals and looping orbits to lanes that merge into a funnel. A few positions cover two lanes at once, while special pads boost damage or range, so choosing where to build matters. Stage rules can add EM storms, evacuation escorts or enemy trace-backs.
