Ogresfield

A working-class magic school

Ogresfield is a story-driven fantasy JRPG for PC, set at Ogresfield Academy, a working-class magic school in England. You play through a structured story as an apprentice studying ancient spells and magical theory, brewing potions, and trying to make a future in a world that favors people with prestigious family names and inherited magical knowledge.

The academy’s ageing classrooms, forgotten corridors, and imposing halls hold a history of inequality, forbidden magic, strange disappearances, and buried secrets. Classmates, teachers, rivals, and other inhabitants have their own ambitions and reasons for being there.
