NULL Heart is a PC arcade rail-shooter and roguelike built around firing to trigger item effects. You keep shooting while enemies approach, and each hit can set off abilities in your loadout. The focus is on creating a chain of effects through sustained gunfire rather than relying on precise aim.

Firing and item triggers

Your shots activate item effects, which can produce further attacks and abilities. Items can take socketed modifiers that change how they work: a modifier might split projectiles, change an item’s trigger conditions, or link its effects to another part of your build. Choosing these combinations shapes what happens each time you fire.
