Game premise and objectives

NOYAKI - CONTROLLED BURN is a casual puzzle game focused on the practice of controlled burning. Players are tasked with setting fire to grasslands deliberately, aiming to clear dead grass before spring to prevent the area from turning into forest. You choose where and when to ignite the fire, planning firebreaks and managing livestock to protect nearby homes and animals from the flames.

In this game, you can't manipulate the fire once it has started; your role is to determine its origin and manage the conditions that affect its spread. Fire reacts to the landscape and the wind, requiring you to carefully study the ground before igniting flames. You have the option to fast-forward the simulation to observe the fire's progression and outcomes.
