NOW SHOWING: A Cinema Programming Game

Game overview

NOW SHOWING: A Cinema Programming Game is a simulation game where you take on the role of a programmer deciding what films to show at your cinema. You manage bookings over a seven-day period, coordinating five start times each day. Your goal is to fill thirty-five screenings while dealing with the challenge of selecting appropriate films for diverse audiences.

Audience management

The game presents you with five distinct audience types: families, youth, working adults, seniors, and cinephiles. Each audience has its own preferred viewing times, requiring strategic scheduling to maximize attendance. For instance, a film that sells out on a Saturday evening may not attract viewers at the same time during the week.
