No Wand Shall Pass

A City Where Magic Is Forbidden

No Wand Shall Pass captivates players with its narrative-driven interactive fiction set in the dystopian realm of Mystopolis, a technocratic city-state where magic is not only banned but actively repressed. As a Raksha, a being woven from pure magic, you find yourself ensnared in a complex web of bureaucracy and oppression. Capture leads to a critical choice: serve as a document inspector at the city gates or risk deportation to the dangerous wastelands, where hope is scarce and survival less likely.

The Burden of Choice in Branching Narratives

Every decision you make shapes your path in this branching narrative. As a gatekeeper, you will meet a diverse array of characters (merchants, refugees, and revolutionaries) all with their own stories and challenges. Each has papers that reveal only fragments of their lives. Will you choose to help them bypass the strict orders and question the status quo, or will you uphold the rules to maintain your own safety? The moral dilemmas in No Wand Shall Pass prompt players to weigh the cost of their actions.
