Nine Lives Deep

A roguelike about cats

Nine Lives Deep is a 2D top-down action roguelike for PC. You guide cats through a mysterious nighttime world, fighting across procedurally generated alleys, sewers, caves and city streets. Each run changes the room layouts, enemy placements and locations of secret rooms and locked vaults.

Combat and weapons

Combat is fast and hands-on, with no cards or turns. You can find and switch between three weapon families during a run: claws for melee, yarn for control and fish-bone throws for ranged attacks. Each has combo finishers and hand-animated attacks, and can develop along one of four upgrade paths, including bleed, lifesteal, berserk frenzy and sweeping area attacks.
