NIGHTSWEEPER

Game premise and mechanics

NIGHTSWEEPER is a puzzle adventure game for PC that follows Melani, a young Sweeper in the Low Waste, a white desert environment. You travel through abandoned settlements, fields of discarded golems, and attempt to recover ancient artifacts. The primary gameplay mechanic is inspired by Minesweeper, where you reveal numbered tiles that provide clues about the location of hidden scars, manage your inventory, and upgrade Melani’s abilities.

Gameplay progression

As you find and restore artifacts, you must read clues on puzzle pages to mark hidden scars without breaking the spell surrounding them. Each incorrect choice can lead to a failure. After cleaning an artifact, you can sell it or use it to buy tools and upgrades that expand your capabilities. This system encourages strategic planning and resource management.
