Chess with capture challenges

Nested Moves is a chess variant for PC where every attempted capture triggers a challenge. You must win that challenge to complete the capture. Lose, and your piece can be left exposed, changing the position and disrupting your plan.

Mini-games and custom rules

A capture challenge can be trivia, a tactical d20 roll, tic-tac-toe, four-in-a-row, checkers, a coin flip, or another game of chess. The chess position still matters, but the challenge can change how a capture turns out.
