Game premise and mechanics

Neon Ascent is a cyberpunk turn-based roguelike deckbuilder that incorporates extraction mechanics. Players gather loot throughout their runs, build their decks, and engage in battles against bosses. After completing each chapter, a decision must be made: either push deeper into the game or extract with what has been collected.

Card and deck management

In battles, players select actions based on their available energy. You can choose to attack, defend, or prepare for future combos with the cards in your deck. Targets and order of play are important, especially against bosses and multiple opponents, as strategic choices can greatly impact the outcome of a fight.
