Game overview

Necromania is a top-down roguelite that combines souls-like combat with a randomized dungeon-crawling experience. Set in the Greville family mansion, players must navigate through the estate, which has been overrun with supernatural creatures and cursed treasures due to a portal to the underworld mistakenly opened by Uncle Rupert Greville. You choose different members of the Greville family, each with their own distinct abilities, to fight through the mansion and handle the various threats lurking in its halls.

Combat and weapons

Combat in the game is deliberate and stamina-based, focusing on timing and strategy rather than fast-paced button-mashing. You perform actions such as attacking, dodging, blocking, and repositioning, where each mistake leaves you vulnerable. Success relies on understanding enemy behavior, managing your resources wisely, and taking advantage of openings during encounters.
