MuteX+

Step into the World of Mutex

Mutex invites players to take on the role of Brigand, a researcher armed with an experimental weapon. The setting echoes a stagnant war that hinges on the discovery of valuable resources hidden within enemy nests. Players must slash their way through slimes known as Anobrites, each with unique behaviors and abilities, as they hunt for the secrets that could change the tide of battle. The blend of action and exploration hooks you right from the start.

A New Take on Action-Packed Gameplay

Brigand’s combat mechanics rely on a streamlined moveset that includes slashes, punches, and dashes. Timing is crucial, as each ability has variations based on its execution. These mechanics are complemented by tricks and combos that transform simple attacks into stringed offenses, eliminating multiple Anobrites with one swing provides bonuses like extra dash meter. The result is a satisfying dance of strategy and responsiveness that keeps combat engaging.
