Life on Mossback

Mossback is a PC game about living on a giant turtle. You farm crops, bees, and puffins, mine for ore and treasure, fish in the sea, tide pools, and lakes, and decorate your cottage with furniture unlocked on your activities. You can cook meals for Mossback, then offer them to the turtle to unlock content, raise new land, or head out to a minigame.

Minigames and downtime

One minigame is a roguelike bullet hell on Thornback. Between activities, you can talk with NPCs, stargaze, or send a message in a bottle out to sea. Progress has no traditional levels, hard deadlines, or required pace. Crops can’t die, and you can’t lose your inventory.
