A deadly mall game show

Money Mazes and Monsters is a PC survival game set in a dead mall in 1997, where you’re a contestant on a game show. Each run takes you through ten procedurally generated mall levels. Collect cash, buy upgrades and reach the exit: money you’re carrying is lost if you die, but it’s banked if you make it out.

The mall is large, so the exit can be a long way off. Directories help you learn each floor. Some walls conceal backrooms, and there’s a basement below the mall. Each floor also has a department store that can serve as a safe room. Pull down its gate and enemies can’t get in, at least for a while.
