Monban: Spirit Gate

Beware the Spirits at the Festival

In Monban: Spirit Gate, players take on the role of a gatekeeper during a supernatural shrine festival. Set against a rich tapestry of Japanese folklore, the game challenges players to determine who can enter the shrine as various yokai, ghosts, and tricksters approach. With the clock ticking towards dawn, each decision influences the fate of the festival, making every shift an engaging test of observation and strategy.

Dynamic Gameplay with Evolving Challenges

As the 30-shift campaign unfolds, the rules governing the festival constantly change, leading to an increasingly complex web of restrictions. Each visitor presents a unique puzzle, equipped with tickets, masks, and lanterns that must be inspected carefully. Players must learn to observe and deduce each character’s true intentions and curse marks to make decisions that could either earn coins or endanger the festival's success.
