Chess with changing moves

MogriChess is a PC chess game where pieces gain the movement abilities of pieces they capture. You play against a computer opponent or another player at the same computer, moving and capturing pieces on the board.

Captures change the board

A piece’s value depends on the movement abilities it has collected. When it’s captured, the piece that takes it inherits all those abilities, so each trade can upgrade the capturing piece. As the board empties, the remaining pieces can have more ways to move.
