Card battles in a broken world

墨渊牌 is a PC card strategy game about a world formed from Pangu’s brain, where a crack releases a force called 無明. Ancient spirits rebuild heroes from memory and send them into the crack. The heroes can’t die, but each return costs them part of themselves. You play as Frogda, a young swordsman from the Tingtao Sword School, trying to close the crack.

Positioning your moves

Each turn, you place cards in four positions on the table. Your opponent lays out moves too, and both sides lock their choices before the cards are revealed. They resolve in order from position one to four. Attacks that meet attacks clash; an attack against a block is decided by which breaks first. If a block is stronger than the incoming attack, it becomes a perfect block and breaks the attacker’s sword.
