Misgiven: A Journey Through Emotional Turmoil

Misgiven, a 2D sci-fi adventure game for PC, invites players to navigate a world filled with emotional complexity and social themes. The protagonist, Cassandra, is a space adventurer lost in Koriol, a bizarre city cloaked in toxic fog and populated by masked inhabitants. As she grapples with her identity and a deep-seated struggle with social anxiety, players must explore what it means to connect, or not connect, with others.

The Weight of a Mask

Wearing the mask of Kasturi, a previously known explorer, is more than just a survival tactic; it’s a conduit for storytelling. As Cassandra assumes Kasturi’s identity, players delve into her memories and social connections, piecing together her past while navigating dangerous political landscapes. This mechanic highlights the challenge of authenticity in a world that pressures individuals to conform, adding layers of narrative that resonate deeply.
