A flooded-swamp shooter

Miredrift is a first-person shooter for PC set in a post-apocalyptic swamp. You play a white-haired former boat captain who wakes in a damaged boat, already infected by Project NEREID, an organism that escaped during a catastrophic flood and mutates living things. Your family’s voice comes over the radio, and you set out through the mire to find them while investigating what happened.

The company behind NEREID buried the truth about the escape. Documents scattered through the drowned world reveal more about the disaster and your family. The infection is also changing your body: your arm is turning to scales, and you’re searching for an experimental stabilizer that might slow the mutation.
