Milling Machine Simulator 2: Machine Shop is a PC machining simulator where you shape raw stock by operating milling machines and lathes, either by hand or with CNC programs. You secure a workpiece, fit a tool, set cutting parameters, and remove material in passes. You can inspect the result and adjust your approach as you work toward the intended shape.

Five machines

The workshop includes a manual milling machine, a manual lathe, a CNC milling machine, a CNC lathe, and a 5-axis CNC milling machine. On the manual machines, you position the cutter with handwheels or work with rotating stock to turn diameters, face surfaces, and make profiles. CNC milling covers programmed milling, drilling, and repeatable tool movements; the CNC lathe includes roughing, finishing, and threading cycles. The 5-axis mill lets you approach the workpiece from different angles.
