A scrolling front line

Micro Generals is a 2D side-scrolling real-time strategy game about a war fought along one long front. You buy troops, tanks and aircraft, capture ground and supply points, and push toward the enemy HQ before the opposing force reaches yours. The battle moves along the front rather than across a conventional top-down map, so holding ground and keeping supply points matter throughout the fight.

Capturing and fortifying ground

Capture points of interest to resupply and repair troops. You can build walls, anti-air guns and radar, and set up a forward operating base to bring reinforcements closer to the fighting. Rivers and frozen lakes affect movement: build bridges to cross rivers, or move over frozen lakes. Docks and minefields are among the other structures and defenses you can use.
