Merchants Of The Silk Road

Trading across the Silk Road

Merchants Of The Silk Road is a story-driven trading game for PC, set in 1261. Raiders have burned your village in Thrace, and Kareem of Tabriz has taken your brother, daughter and son east in a slave column. You set out with a donkey and twenty coins, trying to catch Kareem and buy your family back.

You travel between towns, buying goods where they’re cheap and selling them where merchants will pay more. The route stretches from Thrace and Constantinople to Sivas, Samarkand, Turfan and the gate of China. Your goal is to make enough money to ransom family members, including those Kareem has already sold to other owners.
