Mercenary Planet: Ash & Steel is a third-person sci-fi action RPG for PC set in post-apocalyptic Tamil Nadu. Lord Kael and his Nexus Corporation rule through artificial intelligence, drone swarms and war machines. You play as Dr. Sanjay Krishnamoorthy, a scientist who commands Bio-Mechs: living machines with their own minds, personalities and wills.

Commanding Bio-Mechs

You direct your squad with a Command Wheel and choose each Bio-Mech’s Doctrine before a mission, shaping its tactics. They act on their own, but you can take direct control with Neural Override when a fight calls for it. The squad includes Viper, a surface-climbing flanker; Striker, a shape-shifting infiltrator; Hyena, which disrupts enemy formations; Cancer, an armored unit that breaches walls; and H2Borg, a squad leader and front-line fighter.
