Game premise and play

Matter Scatter is a science-based game where you play as matter itself. The game takes you through the timeline of the universe, from the formation of particles to the creation of worlds. You will bond quarks into protons and neutrons, fuse elements into atomic nuclei, and capture electrons to form molecules. As you progress through stages like the Dark Ages and Stellar Nucleosynthesis, you will need to navigate various hazards including photons, antimatter, gamma rays, and rogue black holes.

Stages of evolution

Each phase of the game represents a different era in the universe's history. You start with Quark-Gluon Plasma and advance through Nucleosynthesis, Recombination, and into the Dark Ages, where you’ll gather a cloud of hydrogen while avoiding dangers. In the Stellar Nucleosynthesis stage, you'll interact with a living star and undergo fusion, eventually leading to a supernova that scatters stardust. You continue by gathering this stardust to form a new world in the Protoplanetary Disk.
