Kung fu duels in Shanghai

Martial Art’s History is a 1v1 side-scrolling kung fu fighting game set in early Republican Shanghai. You control a warrior in arena duels, settling grudges and competing for glory against friends or other fighters.

Combat and arenas

Fights use strikes, grabs, counters and parries. You can throw light jabs, land heavy blows and finish with special moves; matches turn on spacing, spotting openings and timing defensive parries. The combat draws on traditional kung fu styles and vintage fight choreography, without fantasy effects.
