Marginalia: A Desktop Garden is an idle game for PC that runs in the margins of your screen. Your open windows form the terrain, and a small crew of astronaut animals tends alien plants growing between them.

Growing between windows

You leave the game running while you work. It never takes focus or interrupts, and yields to what you’re doing on your desktop. The garden grows in the spaces between your open windows, tended by its crew of astronaut animals.
