Game premise and objectives

Machines vs Monsters is a roguelite tower defense game set on various planets where you take on the role of a Batavia deployment commander. Your primary responsibilities include landing the Command Center, ensuring its survival while it operates, and managing local fauna, which are described as both native assets and monsters. You are expected to face escalating waves of enemies across each campaign-length siege, and initial attempts may not lead to victory.

Tactical gameplay

The game features a dynamic gameplay structure where you build mazes and place towers to direct enemy movements. As the terrain evolves between waves, you must adapt your strategy to account for new features like ridgelines, fissures, and ore deposits. Every deployment is distinct, providing a fresh map with each run.
