Game premise and mechanics

Ludus Manager: Gladiator Tycoon is a management game where you take on the role of a lanista, responsible for running a ludus, or gladiator school. You recruit fighters from various cultures and historical eras, train them, equip them, and manage their participation in arena combat. The game combines elements of strategy, economy, and combat, requiring you to make both tactical and economic decisions as you build and develop your ludus.

Fighter recruitment and training

In this game, you have the option to select fighters from dozens of classes, including Celtic warriors, Vikings, and medieval knights, each with distinct gear, styles, and roles.
