Living Recombination

A flesh-based survival sandbox

Living Recombination is a 2D pixel-art, top-down survival and base-building game set in a world transformed by a flesh-borne catastrophe. You explore ruins and anomalous regions, scavenge for resources, hunt flesh creatures and prepare for escalating threats. During the day, you gather and hunt; at night, you have to survive.

Organs and body building

Creatures’ organs are resources you can transplant into yourself or other living beings. Each organ has attributes, rules and triggered effects, and its position, nearby organs and the host’s condition affect how it works. You can arrange organs to focus on speed, damage or survivability, or build a body around a particular combination of effects. Creatures you kill can become part of your next body build.
