Space incremental simulation

Lightspeed is a PC incremental simulation about accelerating a ship from a dead stop to the speed of light, 299,792,458 m/s. You collect fuel from cosmic particles, build up speed, and use the resources from each run to buy upgrades. When the fuel runs out, your velocity drops to zero, and you start the next attempt with improved systems.

Collecting fuel

You control the ship’s collection arrays directly, hovering over drifting particles and exotic substances to scoop them up. The HUD tracks your velocity, acceleration, and progress toward the speed of light as you travel. Runs are built around gathering fuel and pushing farther before momentum ends: fuel reserves eventually run dry, bringing the ship to a stop.
